PINFER

Data Security

How Pinfer handles and protects the information used to deliver our services

  1. How we protect data

Pinfer takes the security of client and customer information seriously.

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

Our approach is based on limiting access to information, using trusted technology providers and handling personal information only where it is required to provide the agreed service.

Security measures are reviewed as our services and technology develop.

  1. How client data is handled

Pinfer only uses client-provided information for the purpose of delivering the agreed lead re-engagement and qualification service.

Client data may include contact details, information relating to a previous enquiry, SMS responses and qualification information collected during a conversation.

We do not use client lead data for unrelated purposes. Access to this information is limited to what is needed to operate the service, manage conversations, qualify opportunities and return relevant information to the client.

Where a campaign ends or information is no longer required, data is handled in accordance with the agreed retention and deletion arrangements.

  1. Access and service providers

Pinfer limits access to client and customer information to the people and systems that need it to provide the service.

We use trusted third-party service providers to support areas such as SMS delivery, workflow automation, artificial intelligence, email and business operations.

These providers may process personal information only where this is necessary to provide their services to Pinfer and are expected to handle that information appropriately.

Where appropriate, access is controlled using account permissions, authentication and other security measures.

  1. Retention and deletion

Pinfer keeps client and customer information only for as long as it is needed to provide the agreed service, manage opt-outs, resolve issues or meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the service being provided and the client’s instructions.

Where information is no longer required, it is deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with the agreed data retention arrangements.

We may retain limited information where necessary to maintain suppression or opt-out records and help prevent further unwanted communications.

  1. Security incidents and data processing agreement

Pinfer has processes in place to respond to suspected security incidents involving personal information and to take appropriate action where required.

Where Pinfer processes personal information on behalf of a client, the responsibilities of each party are set out in the relevant agreement. A data processing agreement can be provided as part of client onboarding where appropriate.

We also review the systems and service providers used to deliver the service and update our security approach as the business develops.
